Dan joined the team in 2011 having graduated with an MSc in Performance Analysis and Biomechanics from Chester University.
Dan’s initial role was as a Support Analyst to our intern programme, providing critical data to help profile EPS players whilst playing for their clubs. During this period he also gained valuable applied experience with a number of the pathway teams.
In 2012 he was appointed as the Performance Analyst for the Sevens programme, where he is responsible for all data collection and analysis systems within the programme. He also ensures the service provision is aligned with the national academy and senior team.
Dan has travelled as part of a core group of management to a number of international tournaments and has experience of major multi-sport events from the 2014 Commonwealth Games. He was also selected to be the Performance Analyst for the Team GB 7s programme at the Rio Olympics in 2016. Dan also has experience of applied project work within a number of other professional sports, including Football and Cricket.
